Prepay

Prepay

Overview: Prepay was conceived during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. The founders had a vision to help independent service providers, such as dog-walkers and barbers, recover lost cash flow and retain clients.

Project brief: Design the overall brand identity including logo, colour palette, typography, web components. Take existing wireframes and apply the branded UI kit to it, create design system.

Role: Lead designer

Methods: Working directly with the founders, I presented several rounds of mood boards and brand directions. I took inspiration from other service platforms, and went for a direction that was both recognisable and easily expandable by other designers. Once we decided on a direction, I took all of the existing wireframes and applied the branding. I handed off final production files and UI kit specs to the development team, and was responsible for QA. I also worked on marketing materials including social posts and the landing page.

Volunteer project

Starting out with Bureau Grot Wide Ultra Black, I created a simple and high impact logo that could be used across many channels.
I wanted to communicate the idea of a ‘circular economy’, so created a secondary animated logo.
