Posters for Peace
To honor the UN’s International Day of Peace, Creative agency Sid Lee staged a Bed-In for Peace in Montreal on 9/21/2017. The event pays homage to the Bed-In for Peace that John Lennon and Yoko Ono organized in 1969, which saw the married couple stay in bed for a week at Montreal’s Queen Elizabeth Hotel to protest the Vietnam War. As part of the event, 40 beds covered in bed sheets emblazoned with posters that were created by artists around the world.
After receiving 400 entries, a team of seven judges chose 40 winners, among which I was one. Below is my entry.
